About Mrs. Sherburne
I'm a little bit of a daredevil!
I have been teaching fourth grade for over 20 years. I love teaching with Mr. Miller and Mrs. DiPasquale. Three heads are better than one!
I graduated from U-Mass/Boston with a double major in Education and Psychology. My Masters degree was earned at Lesley University in Curriculum and Design with a concentration in Literacy. I have been married for 40 years! My husband's name is Bob and we have two sons Bobby and Chris. We have two beautiful grandchildren Bobby and Hailey! It's true what they say about being grandparents! It's so much fun!
I love to read, bike ride, and dive head first into the freezing cold waves in Maine!
Fourth grade is the best grade to teach! Students are becoming serious learners (most of the time) and their talents really start to blossom. I learn so much from 9 and 10 year olds. The latest fads this year are Japanese erasers and rubix cubes!

Mission
Students should s-t-r-e-t-c-h their minds by taking risks and thinking outside of the box! They need to persevere and come to realize not everything comes easy and fast. If you fail at first, just try another strategy!
